​The South Texas Nazarene School of Ministry offers the course of study required for ministerial candidates to be considered for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene.
There are 21 courses - offered online via Zoom.

​The  adult learners will gain knowledge in biblical and theological CONTENT, build mature CHARACTER as servants of the church, engage in meaningful experience as faithful witnesses in their CONTEXTS, and lead toward COMPETENCE for ministry leadership in South Texas and beyond.

​Los estudiantes adultos obtendrán conocimientos sobre CONTENIDO bíblico y teológico, desarrollarán un CARÁCTER maduro como servidores de la iglesia, participarán en una experiencia significativa como testigos fieles en sus CONTEXTOS y los guiarán hacia la COMPETENCIA para el liderazgo ministerial en el sur de Texas y más allá.

​Course Schedule
Horario de Clases

Each course usually lasts five weeks. All reading and assignments must be submitted to Google Classroom or by email prior to the class meeting.

Arrive to class at least 10 minutes early whether in person or by Zoom. Zoom links will be sent just prior to the class meeting.

Since there is a condensed schedule, plan to be present for the entire two hours of the class. There will be short break given halfway. 

Only one excused absence is allowed or the course will need to be repeated. Student must let instructor know prior to the scheduled class meeting.

Cada curso dura cinco semanas. Todas las lecturas y tareas deben enviarse a Google Classroom o por correo electrónico antes de la reunión de clase.

Llegue a clase al menos 10 minutos antes ya sea en persona o por Zoom. Los enlaces de Zoom se enviarán justo antes de la reunión de clase.

Dado que hay un horario condensado, planee estar presente durante las dos horas completas de la clase. Habrá un breve descanso a mitad del camino.

Sólo se permite una ausencia justificada o será necesario repetir el curso. El estudiante debe informar al instructor antes de la reunión de clase programada.
