​The South Texas Nazarene School of Ministry offers the course of study required for ministerial candidates to be considered for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene.
There are 21 courses offered online via Zoom.

​The  adult learners will gain knowledge in biblical and theological CONTENT, build mature CHARACTER as servants of the church, engage in meaningful experience as faithful witnesses in their CONTEXTS, and lead toward COMPETENCE for ministry leadership in South Texas and beyond.

​Los estudiantes adultos obtendrán conocimientos sobre CONTENIDO bíblico y teológico, desarrollarán un CARÁCTER maduro como servidores de la iglesia, participarán en una experiencia significativa como testigos fieles en sus CONTEXTOS y los guiarán hacia la COMPETENCIA para el liderazgo ministerial en el sur de Texas y más allá.

Horario de Clases

Each course in English lasts eight weeks. We are collaborating with SNU and the USA/Canada Region to offer these classes. More info coming soon about registration and payment beginning in January 2026.  

Zoom links will be posted on the Canvas learning platform. Arrive to Zoom class at least 10 minutes early. The Zoom sessions last for two hours. There are no Zoom sessions Week 1 or Week 8.  Week 1 is a reading and assignment week through Canvas.  Week 8 is for final project/papers and conversations on Canvas.  

Only one excused absence is allowed or the Zoom sessions. Student must let instructor know prior to the scheduled class meeting of an absence.

Cada curso dura seis semanas. Todas las lecturas y tareas deben enviarse a Google Classroom o por correo electrónico antes de la reunión de clase.  Después de registrarse y pagar, recibirás el correo con la invitación a Google Classroom.  Revisa su correo de basura si no lo ves. 

Llegue al clase de Zoom al menos 10 minutos antes. Los enlaces de Zoom estarán puesto en Google Classroom. 

Dado que hay un horario condensado, planee estar presente durante las dos horas completas de la clase. Habrá un breve descanso a mitad del camino.

Sólo se permite una ausencia justificada o será necesario repetir el curso. El estudiante debe informar al instructor antes de la reunión de clase programada.

No class on Memorial Day, make up day on Tuesday May 26th.
English class registration and content is available through SNU and the Canvas learning platform.
